What is a county supervisor?

The job of a County Supervisor comes down to three core responsibilities.

Budget & Stewardship

The county budget reflects our values. Supervisors review proposals, set funding priorities, and help direct resources which include grants to organizations doing important work across the county. I take stewardship of public dollars seriously and believe in investing in efforts that meet real needs while staying fiscally responsible.

Meetings & Listening

That includes public meetings, working sessions, and conversations with constituents. Showing up prepared, listening carefully, and making decisions transparently is essential. Trust is built by how leaders show up in the community they serve and with the consistency needed to earn that trust.

People, Boards & Commissions

County government works because people do. Supervisors work closely with county leadership and sit on boards and commissions that guide policy and implementation. I believe these groups are strongest when they include voices with lived experience and real insight into our communities. I would prioritize listening to people already doing this work and making sure those tables reflect the county they serve. I want the people’s voice at the table.
